Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç will act as a Co-Chair at the 7th Conference on Managing Tourism across Continents (MTCON), recognized as one of the most prestigious academic events in the world. Organized with the “Tourism for a Better World” theme this year, the congress will take place between 29 April and 2 May 2026 in Antalya.
This significant international event will be co-chaired by EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç and Prof. Dr. Roya Rahimi from the University of Wolverhampton. The congress seeks to bring together academics, industry professionals, and researchers from around the world to host scientific studies that will help shape the future of tourism.
MTCON serves as an internationally renowned platform showcasing high-quality academic research in areas such as tourism management, sustainability, destination development, digitalization, customer experience, innovation, and global tourism policy.
Expressing his contentment on the matter, Prof. Dr. Kılıç stated: “Tourism is not just a key sector that connects the world; it is a strategic field central to sustainability, innovation, and global cooperation.
