In this context, the recent employment of more than 10 graduates from the EMU Civil Aviation Cabin Services Program by Pegasus Airlines serves as a notable example of the program’s success in preparing students for employment in the aviation sector.

EMU graduates Melisa Demir, Ariana Aktaş, Yunus Emre Derebent, Yalçın Güççük, İclal Fidan, Gözde Zeyrek, Sude Güney, Narin Sevim, Funda Aktaş, Sultan Sütçüoğlu and Eda Ezer stated that they began their professional life with confidence thanks to the education they acquired at EMU. Expressing their satisfaction with being EMU graduates, they noted that the theoretical knowledge and practical experience they gained in areas such as aviation terminology, safety procedures, cabin security, customer relations, and teamwork provided them with a significant advantage during recruitment processes. The graduates also emphasized that simulation-supported courses and applications designed to reflect real flight environments played an important role in their professional preparation. EMU Civil Aviation and Cabin Services Program Coordinator and Specialist Aslı Akı emphasized that practical trainings received by the students during their studies play an important role in their professional development. Adding that practical courses and field-based applications help students prepare for the aviation industry in a more qualified and effective way, Akı stated that students are provided with experiences closely reflecting real working environments even before graduation. According to Akı, this practical background allows graduates to adapt more easily and rapidly to professional life once they enter the sector. She also stated that the recent feedback and recruitment information received from Pegasus Airlines regarding EMU graduates has been a source of pride.
Assist. Prof. Dr. İlkay Yorgancı, Acting Dean of EMU Faculty of Tourism, noted that they regularly update their Civil Aviation and Cabin Services Program in line with the sectoral needs. Assist. Prof. Dr. Yorgancı stated; “Our greatest priority is to ensure that our students graduate not only with theoretical knowledge, but also with a strong practice-oriented foundation.
