“Cryptocurrency” talk event organized by Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Science Communication Office was held at Coffeein Terrace Café, Kyrenia on 10 June 2026. Receiving strong participation, the event organized with communication sponsorship by North Cyprus Turcell, aimed at raising awareness on digital assets and cryptocurrency investments. EMU Faculty of Business and Economics academic Prof. Dr. Mete Feridun took part in the said event as a speaker.
A Focus on Cryptocurrency Investments
As part of the talk, the discussion focused on the fundamental principles of cryptocurrencies, investment practices, and the factors investors should carefully consider. Prof. Dr. Mete Feridun shared key insights into the cryptocurrency market, highlighting the role of leverage and the importance of balancing potential risks with expected returns.
