EMU Signs New Academic Partnership Agreement with U.S.-Based Virscend University

Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) has signed a new academic partnership agreement with Virscend University, located in Irvine, California, United States. Within the scope of the aggrement, two structured academic programs will be launched through the collaboration between EMU and Virscend University.

Under the said agreement, students will be offered 3+1 undergraduate and 1+1 master’s degree program options. Through the special partnership scholarship provided, EMU students will have the opportunity to complete a portion of their studies entirely online and earn a fully accredited United States degree from Virscend University.

The academic collaboration is not limited to joint degree programs; it also encompasses student exchange opportunities, joint academic projects, and faculty collaborations. In this regard, the agreement aims to provide students of both universities with an enriched and multidimensional academic experience at the international level.

Making remarks on the matter, EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç stated that Eastern Mediterranean University has taken another significant step in line with its internationalization vision through this important collaboration. Prof. Dr. Kılıç noted that the agreement will provide students with a competitive advantage on a global scale. He also emphasized that bringing together different academic cultures will make a substantial contribution to students’ academic and professional development.

Virscend University

Virscend University is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), one of the accrediting bodies responsible for evaluating leading higher education institutions in the United States. Its Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) program is classified as a STEM program, featuring a curriculum focused on artificial intelligence, data analytics, and digital marketing.
