Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Faculty of Communication, Public Relations and Advertising Department 2014 graduate Kani Yeşilovalı proudly represents EMU with his accomplishments throughout his international career journey. Commencing his career in customer service at Facebook and Yeşilovalı was soon promoted to a consultant position, taking on significant responsibilities.
During his time as a consultant, Yeşilovalı was responsible for managing the markets of Türkiye, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Russia, and Poland, gaining valuable experience across seven international regions. Reflecting on his journey as someone who grew up in Güzelyurt, Yeşilovalı stated, “Our resources may be limited, but our imagination knows no bounds”, highlighting that limitations can always be overcome.
Following his experience at Facebook, Yeşilovalı advanced his career as a Digital Marketing Specialist. In 2020, he took a step into entrepreneurship by establishing his own digital marketing company, further solidifying his professional presence.

Reflecting on his years at EMU, Yeşilovalı noted that being actively involved in numerous student clubs deepened his curiosity about different cultures and broadened his perspective on the world. Emphasizing the value of EMU’s international environment in shaping his personal and professional growth, he expressed his appreciation by saying, “I am proud to be a member of EMU and grateful for my decision to come to Famagusta”.
