The “Eastern Mediterranean 2nd Tourism Fair 2025”, organized within the scope of the 26th Tourism Days, by the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Faculty of Tourism was held with strong participation. Taking place in front of EMU Faculty of Tourism Building, the fair brought together the students who are interested in the tourism industry with the representatives of the sector.
Throughout the fair, a wide range of hotel chains, travel agencies, and aviation companies hosted booths and engaged directly with students. Human resources representatives of the companies shared details about internship and employment opportunities, while also accepting résumés and conducting initial interviews.
The fair provided a valuable opportunity for students to explore career paths and connect directly with industry professionals. It also played a key role in fostering stronger ties between academia and the tourism sector. During the event, numerous academics and sector representatives came together to discuss collaborative projects and explore possibilities for future cooperation.
Receiving great participation, the event supported students in shaping their career choices and offered them valuable insight into the latest trends and developments within the tourism industry.
Total of 30 Participanting Companies
The fair brought together leading names from the tourism and hospitality sectors, offering students the chance to connect directly with industry professionals. With 30 organizations participating, the event featured prestigious hotels and resorts such as Limak Cyprus Deluxe Hotel, Elexus Hotel Resort, Concorde Luxury Resort, Kaya Artemis Resort, The Arkın Colony, Arkın Palm Beach Hotel, Arkın Karpaz Gate Marina, Salamis Bay Conti Hotel, Lord’s Palace Hotel, Merit Hotels International, Grand Pasha Hotel Lefkoşa, Cratos Premium Hotel, Grand Sapphire Resort Hotel, and Ceasar Projects. Additionally, companies from other tourism-related fields—including Döveç Group, Akol Group, Pegasus Airlines, and Puzzle Travel—engaged with students and offered internship and job opportunities. Well-known names from the gastronomy and service industries, such as Caddem Inn Hotel, The Hunger, Big Chefs, La Terrezza Hotel, Cortado Espresso Bar, Roots Cafe and Bar, Azulik, Loof, the Güven Forces House Directorate, Oza Kahve, and Petek Pastanesi, also took part in the event. Their participation enabled face-to-face interaction with students. The broad representation of businesses across different sectors highlighted both the diversity of the fair and the wide scope of career paths available to students.
