Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Faculty of Education, Fine Arts Education Department academic staff member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Başak Gorgoretti visited the Paediatric Oncology Unit at the Dr. Burhan Nalbantoğlu State Hospital and read the children “Notalar Rüyama Girdi” book written by herself. Doctors and nurses of the unit as well as the families of patients also participated in the event where Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gorgoretti introduced the children musical instruments through songs.
The said event was organized in collaborations with Cyprus Foundations Administration and Association of Community Development Movement (TOGEH). The event aimed to create an enjoyable experience through music for the children, as well as the doctors, nurses, and families in the ward. At the end of the event, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Minister of Health Dr. Hakan Dinçyürek expressed gratitude to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Gorgoretti for her contributions and presented her with a gift.
