The results of the 2024 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) have been announced by the Republic of Türkiye Center for Assessment, Selection and Placement on Tuesday, 13 August 2024. This year, 1,676 students were placed in the Eastern Mediterranean University’s (EMU) four-year undergraduate programs, and 509 students were placed in the associate degree programs, reaching 2,185 students.
EMU achieved to be the most preferred university of the Turkish Republic of Nothern Cyprus, in terms of undergraduate programs. 1,676 students chose EMU’s undergraduate programs. Moreover, EMU ranked as the top university among the TRNC universities.
96% Placement Rate in Associate Degree Programs
On the other hand, 509 students were placed into EMU’s associate degree programs, filling 96.21% of the quotas which are 529 for associate programs.
In his statement regarding the topic, EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç wished that the results of YKS would benefit the higher education sector. Prof. Dr. Kılıç also wished success to the new students of EMU in the 2024-2025 Academic Year.
