A 40-people committee consisting of school directors and teachers from Azerbaijan paid a visit to Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU). Welcomed by the EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç and Vice Rector for Promotion and Institutional Communication Prof. Dr. Ali Öztüren, the said committee received extensive information about the university, discussing the importance of quality education in higher education sector.
EMU alumni member, Educational Specialist and T-Network Director Jafar Mansimi accompanied the visiting committee. The discussions focused on the role and future of artificial intelligence in education and how to prepare for it. Participants exchanged ideas on EMU’s vision in this regard and how to better guide students in choosing the right career paths and universities. These topics were widely debated among the participants, and significant recommendations were made.
Furthermore, potential collaborations in the field of education were discussed, leading to an agreement for cooperation between EMU and T-Network, an educational platform in Azerbaijan. Backed by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Science and Education, T-Network is dedicated to enhancing collaboration among local and international educators and promoting the professional growth of teachers. This collaboration between EMU and T-Network aims to reinforce the relationship between the two institutions and pave the way for future educational projects.
At the end of the said visit, EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç presented Jafar Mansimi and Azerbaijani guests with souvenirs from EMU.
