The first issue of the Faculty of Law Journal has been released by the Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faculty of Law with the aim of contributing the academic world. The first issue of the journal was dedicated to Prof. Dr. Turgut Turhan, retired Dean of the EMU Faculty of Law, who is one of the leading figures in the field of law in Türkiye and Cyprus.
Prepared as a peer-reviewed publication in accordance with the academic standards, the EMU Faculty of Law Journal is edited by the Dean of Faculty of Law Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arzu Alibaba. The Editorial Board of the journal consists of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Demet Çelik Ulusoy, Assist. Prof. Dr. Bezar Eylem Ekinci, Assist. Prof. Dr. Emine Koçano Rodoslu, Research Assistants Murat Özad and Gönül Derya.
On the other hand, the Advisory Board of the journal includes academics who are experts in their field such as Prof. Dr. Bilgin Tiryakioğlu, Prof. Dr. Gülin Güngör, Prof. Dr. Feriha Bilge Tanrıbilir, Prof. Dr. Rifat Erten and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kazım Sedat Sirmen.
The journal aims to reflect the academic vision of the law faculty and contribute to the encouragement and publication of new scientific research. The first issue of the journal focuses on the field of Private International Law, which is the area of expertise of Prof. Dr. Turgut Turhan, and includes articles addressing significant topics in this field.
