Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) Faculty of Engineering, Department of Computer Engineering, Software Engineering Program 2021 graduate Zaid Zahi Mahasneh graduated from the only Supply Chain Management and Logistics Postgraduate Program operated within the scope of the collaboration protocol signed between EMU and University of Warwick. The importance of supply chain and logistics management has become prominent during the pandemic period. Along with his academic success, Mahasneh’s postgraduate thesis titled “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence Tools on IT Employee Productivity: A Case Study in the Middle East” was awarded with MSc by the central campus in England. The said program, which accepts a limited number of students, focuses on finding solutions to business management problems of companies through real case studies in partnership with both industry and academia.
Initiated in 2011 within the scope of the collaboration protocol between EMU and the University of Warwick, the Engineering Business Management and, Supply Chain Management and Logistics Postgraduate Programs are run at EMU campus. In addition to offering a high-quality master’s programs through the joint efforts of academics from the University of Warwick and EMU, with instruction taking place at the central campus in England, the dual degree program enables students to earn two master’s degrees from both institutions within two years by completing five extra courses.
Making a remark on the topic, EMU Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Osman M. Karatepe noted that EMU’s successful academic and higher education partnerships have greatly benefited both the university and the promotion of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC). Prof. Dr. Karatepe highlighted that collaborations with top-ranked international universities, such as the University of Warwick, will persist, and new partnerships will be sought. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Karatepe congratulated our student, Zaid Zahi Mahasneh, on receiving his master’s degree.
