Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Faculty of Education, Department of Fine Arts Education organized a concert and a talk event titled “Müzik ve Yaşama Çok Yönlü Bakmak / A Multi-Perspective Look into Music and Life”. The event took place on Wednesday, 9 April 2025 at 12:30 p.m. at the Choir Hall at EMU Department of Fine Arts Education.
The event was attended by the Dean of EMU Faculty of Education Prof. Dr. Ahmet Pehlivan, Head of EMU Department of Fine Arts Education Prof. Dr. Serdar Çetin Aydar, EMU academic and administrative personnel, and students.
Along with his musical performance during the event, Parliament Member of the Republican Turkish Party (CTP), Fikri Toros also delivered a multi-perspective talk event on music and life. Pursuing a professional life beyond the field of music, Toros reflected after the concert on the diverse ways music shapes both personal and societal life. Sharing insights from his own experiences, Toros spoke about the significance of music in his life and offered students thoughtful guidance on how to enrich their lives with greater purpose and depth.
