Employment and Career Processes in Germany Explained to Teacher Candidates at EMU

Within the scope of the collaboration protocol signed between Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) and Future Mind & Sprachportal GmbH, an information conference on employment and career opportunities in Germany was held for the 3rd and 4th year students of the Pre-School Teacher Education operating under EMU Faculty of Education.

Moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Eda K. Yazgın from the Department of Elementary Education at the EMU Faculty of Education, the conference featured Asım İdris, Director of Future Mind Education Center, as the guest speaker. During the event, comprehensive information was shared on the growing demand for teachers in Germany, the qualifications and criteria sought for teacher recruitment in preschool education institutions, and the career opportunities available to graduates. Participants were also provided with important details regarding application, recognition of qualifications, visa, and placement procedures.

The prospective teachers attending the conference stated that they were pleased to see career opportunities being strengthened through industry collaborations and strategic partnerships. Commenting on the event, Dean of the EMU Faculty of Education, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Pehlivan, reaffirmed the Faculty’s commitment to continuously supporting and following the professional development of its students throughout their academic journey and after graduation.
