During the 57th European Society of Human Genetics (ESHG 2024) Conference held in Berlin, Germany, various topics were discussed, including multidisciplinary genetic-genomic studies using advanced molecular methods, the assessment of data and measurements within scientific applications, and research and interpretation of genetic diseases. Additionally, the congress covered innovations, recent professional and scientific advancements, and included poster presentations.

Exemplary Studies

Prof. Dr. Tüzmen noted that they are currently compiling the results of their efforts for future generations and highlighted that due to the high costs associated with molecular biology and genetics laboratory work, they have turned to “in silico” (computer-based) studies alongside students and academics. Despite limited resources, Prof. Dr. Tüzmen reported that they have managed to publish numerous academic papers and book chapters with the collaboration of students and faculty.

Vice Dean of the EMU Faculty of Dentistry Prof. Dr. Tüzmen added that, for the 2024-25 Academic Year Fall Semester, they are awaiting prospective students who wish to receive training at the laboratories equipped with the latest technological advancements with well-qualified academic staff of EMU Faculty of Dentistry.
