Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) will be launching a “Premedical Foundation Certificate Program” for high school graduates who are intending to get training at the Medicine Faculty. The mentioned certificate program, designed on a solid educational framework and aimed at easing the transition into medical education, spans nine months and serves as the initial step toward becoming successful future doctors.

The Premedical Foundation Certificate Program of the Medicine Faculty will be composed of two academic semesters and will consist total of 18 courses, nine courses for each semester. Students attending the certificate program will primarily work and practical applications and, receive training in fields such as anatomy, biochemistry, biophysics, introduction to clinical skills, communicative skills in medicine, clinical research and histology, as well as fundamental areas of medicine education. The said certificate will be delivered in English language and the courses will take place in the laboratories of the EMU Dr. Fazıl Küçük Medicine Faculty and lecture halls around EMU campus.
