Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation undergraduate, master’s and doctoral graduate Dr. PT. Tayfun Arslan has been carrying out significant work in the field of sports physiotherapy for over 11 years. Dr. PT. Arslan provides physiotherapy services to licensed athletes at the Sinop Athlete Training Center, operated by the Turkish Ministry of Youth and Sports. He also supports the Turkish National Canoe and Rowing Teams at international competitions and world championships. By offering physiotherapy guidance to athletes from various disciplines, Dr. PT. Arslan continues to leverage his professional expertise successfully on both national and international levels.
Emphasizing the importance of EMU on his career journey, Dr. PT. Arslan underscored the significant roles of technology and field experience in sports physiotherapy. He noted that the university’s robust infrastructure, access to advanced physiotherapy technologies, practical training during internships, guidance from expert faculty, and international reputation have all played a major role in his professional development. He added; “Even though I have completed my doctorate, I continue to consult with my professors at the university on professional matters”.
Showcasing a steady rise in his career, Dr. PT. Tayfun Arslan noted that the academic and professional opportunities offered by EMU strengthened his career, just as all the other graduates. Moreover, he addressed the EMU students and said; “Eastern Mediterranean University will advance you”.
