Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Dr. Fazıl Küçük Medicine Faculty, Clinical Practice and Research Center continues to provide polyclinic services with its expert staff members. With its staff and Faculty of Medicine academics, EMU Dr. Fazıl Küçük Medicine Faculty, Clinical Practice and Research Center offers services in the fields of Pediatrics, Neonatal, Neurology, Internal Diseases, Pharmacology, Orthopetics and Traumatology, Pulmonology, Eye Diseases, Psychiatrics and Clinical Psychology. Moreover, ‘Smoking Cessation Unit’ and Lactation Counselling services are also available at the center. Members of the society who are older than 65 can get a free dysmnesia checks at the center.
Patient Admissions via Appointment System
The Clinical Practice and Research Center, admits patients via an appointment system in order to provide better service to them and reduce waiting time. Those who wish to schedule an appointment are able to do so by contacting the phone number (0392) 630 3851 between 08:00 a.m. – 03:00 p.m. during the summer periods and, between 08:00 a.m. – 05:00 p.m. during the winter periods. Adding more, a 25% discount is applied to EMU staff and their first degree relatives (spouse, children, parents).
Clinical Practice Training for Students
At the Clinical Practice and Research Center, Dr. Fazıl Küçük Medicine Faculty students are also given clinical practice training. During the first 3 years of their medical studies, within the scope of the “Introduction to Clinical Practices” course, Marmara University – Eastern Mediterranean University International Joint Medicine Program students get the opportunity to observe clinical applications, practice and gain first-hand patient experience through examining patients with their specialist instructors.
