Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Faculty of Architecture, Department of Architecture 4th year student Adil Kamal Batcha has been granted with the “People’s Choice Award” (Premio del Pubblico) in 2024Golden Trezzini Awards. Entering the competition with his sixth semester architectural design project, Batcha received an award in the category of “Best Project of Building or Facility by Student”.

Batcha participated in the competition with the his “Mixed-Used Development” project that he designed, under the guidance of EMU Department of Architecture academic staff member Zafer Cafer Volkan, within the scope of ARCH 392 – Architectural Design Studio IV course. The project reflected an innovative approach blending multi-functional spaces and sustainable design principles together.

Batcha’s award marks another significant international success for EMU students. Furthermore, the competition allowed participants to receive professional-level feedback on their projects, which were assessed by a panel of expert jurors.

Golden Trezzini Awards
