Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Faculty of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing and Alumni Communication and Research Center (MIKA) co-organized two separate seminars within the scope of the 13th International Career Days. Hosted by the Faculty of Health Sciences, the online seminar featured Pınar Kılıç with her speech titled “Career Opportunities in Germany for Students in Nursing Major”. On the other hand, the second seminar hosted Meryem Yarseven with her speech titled “My Career Journey: Sharing Experiences for Nursing Students”.
Working as a nurse in Germany, Pınar Kılılç participated in the online “Career Opportunities in Germany for Students in Nursing Major” seminar, presenting important information on topics such as nursing system in Germany, job application processes and career opportunities for international students. Students attending the seminar had the chance to ask questions to the guest speakers on matters related to nursing profession in Germany.
During the second seminar held on the same day, Nurse Meryem Yarseven from Cyprus IVF Hospital met with students and delivered her presentation titled “My Career Journey: Sharing Experiences for Nursing Students”. Talking on her personal experiences in her nursing career, Yarseven provided students with valuable insights and practical advice on how to grow professionally and navigate the shift into their careers.
At the end of the seminar, Chair of EMU Department of Nursing Prof. Dr. Sevinç Taştan presented Meryem Yarseven a plaque in recognition of her contribution to the event.
