As part of its in-service training activities, the Training and Development Services Unit operating under the Human Resources Directorate of Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU) has organized a workshop titled “Impactful Speaking and Presentation Skills Training”. The workshop was delivered by Dr. Jülide Erdal Üngör, Coordinator of the EMU Strategy and Project Development Office, and focused on methods and practical techniques for enhancing the memorability of speeches and presentations while creating a stronger impact on audiences.
The two-day program which brought together academic and administrative staff began with an in-depth training session focusing on effective speaking and presentation techniques, while the second day gave participants the opportunity to apply what they had learned by delivering brief presentations. Each presentation was followed by personalized feedback highlighting participants’ strengths and identifying areas for further development.
Designed to help participants gain a fresh perspective on their presentation skills, the workshop combined practical application with constructive feedback, providing an engaging and enriching professional development experience.
